U.S. Representative Ro Khanna has proposed legislation to ban former President Donald Trump, his family, and all members of Congress from trading cryptocurrencies or stocks, citing potential conflicts of interest. The move follows allegations that Trump's pardon of Binance founder Changpeng 'CZ' Zhao was linked to Binance's support for a crypto project tied to Trump's son.

Khanna's ethics push comes amid scrutiny of his own financial activities—data reveals he has executed stock trades worth over $580 million since 2017. The controversy highlights broader debates in Washington about whether elected officials should be allowed to hold market positions while in office.

Meanwhile, Eric TRUMP denies his father's involvement in the World Liberty Financial (WLFI) project, and CZ has refuted claims of political favors or terrorism financing. A bipartisan stock-trading reform bill is also under consideration, signaling growing pressure for legislative action.
